Visiting site expansion includes northern exposure

Mackay Hearing has announced an expansion in visiting sites that is significant – both in terms of geographic reach and site numbers.

Mackay’s only locally owned hearing practice is primed to launch four new visiting site locations, including two sites in the Whitsundays, taking the total number of visiting sites from three to seven.

New regular visiting site services are set to commence in Mackay City and East Mackay, as well as Proserpine and Bowen.

Jodie Miles, Principal Audiologist and Director of Mackay Hearing said the visiting site expansion was a proud achievement and important milestone for the practice.

“We are 100% committed to improving hearing health across our wonderful region – and this includes making our service accessible to as many people and communities as possible”.

“We are delighted to be able to offer new visiting sites in Mackay, and particularly excited to provide new services in Proserpine and Bowen”.

“We have several existing Whitsunday-based clients that will no doubt enjoy the convenience, but it’s also about increasing awareness of the importance of hearing health, and providing additional choice and options for hearing services in these communities”.

The new sites mark the practice’s first expansion of visiting services in over 2.5 years.

“The new sites more than double our list of visiting sites, but our energetic and passionate team of hearing experts is up for the challenge” Ms Miles said.

The new visiting sites are located at:

  • Mackay City – Paul Hopkins Medical Centre (Brisbane Street Clinic) – 29 Brisbane Street
  • East Mackay – Paul Hopkins Medical Centre (Shakespeare Street Clinic) – 17 Shakespeare Street
  • Proserpine – Proserpine Medical Centre – 60a Main Street
  • Bowen – Bowen Medical Centre – 54 Powell Street

Services at the new visiting sites are set to commence in February 2021.

Services at Mackay Hearing’s Fourways clinic, and existing Northern Beaches, Pioneer Valley and Sarina visiting sites will continue as normal.

  1. Mackay Hearing has grown on the back of the desire to achieve positive results for people with known and sometimes unknown hearing disorders, the level of professional expertise and commitment is very reassuring, from personal experience I now enjoy a much better quality of life being fitted with recommended aids, for that I thankyou.
That said I wish you every success for your next level of expansion.
